One day, this workman, he got sick.

He was seriously ill.

His illness got worse and worse.

Tā de shēntĭ yuèláiyuè zāogāo.

His health/body got worse and worse.

Zuìhòu zhè ge gōngrén Jim，

At the end this workman Jim,

He passed away. He died.

Suŏyĭ dàjiā dōu shuō tā shì nánguò sĭ de，

So everyone all said that he died of sadness.

He died of a broken heart.

Tā shì xīn, xīn suì le suŏyĭ sĭ de.

His heart was broken, so he died.

Duì, nóngfū tīng dào zhè ge xiāoxi yĭhòu,
